Flexible bronchoscopy is a medical procedure that is used to examine the airways in a child's lungs. This procedure is safe, non-invasive and performed under general anesthesia, making it a preferred method of diagnosis and treatment for various respiratory issues in children.

Flexible bronchoscopy is done by inserting a thin, flexible tube through the child's mouth or nose, down the trachea and into the bronchi.

This allows the doctor to inspect the airways, take biopsies, and remove any foreign objects or mucus that may be blocking the airways.
